Our Journey

Hey there! We’re the founders of Unswiped Journey, two engineers from Bangalore who embarked on a journey in search of something more meaningful. Our story? It’s probably not too different from yours. 

We were both single, trying out the usual ways to look out for serious relationships. A series of blind dates, endless swiping, and the high hopes of speed dating events — each one leaving us more disenchanted than the last. Even when we thought we found someone, it never lasted. Every short-lived connection just made us feel more lost, doubting if we'd ever find the kind of bond we were looking for. It was tough, feeling so hopeful and then so let down, over and over.

Which appeared the easiest way out in the first glance, soon became a source of stress and anxiety, leading to a profound sense of loneliness. We kept meeting new people, but nothing felt right. It was like being stuck in a loop, always looking but never finding the connection that could last.

After months of suffering, luckily, we both ended up on the same trip. A trip that was supposed to be an escape from the very problem that ended up bringing us together.
We were just having fun, singing, laughing and talking to each other. And in the process we were getting to know each other. There was no pressure, no expectations—just fun and easy vibes.

Fast forward two years, and here we are, getting stronger each day, living our ‘unswiped journey’.

That’s why we started this. We know the struggle, and we believe everyone deserves to find love that’s real and uncomplicated.
